METRÔ RIO. UNDERSTAND HOW IT WORKS.

Is very easy to understand Rio Metro. By Metrô you can reach the main points of interest of Rio de Janeiro. It has stations near the VLT(Tram) stops, which facilitates its integration with the Bus Station and Santos Dumont Airport. So, if you arrive in the city from these terminals you can reach the South Zone or the Center using the VLT and the Subway. SANTA TEREZA. A TRADITIONAL NEIGHBORHOOD OVER THE HILL.

Until 1849 there were only a convent, an aqueduct (today Arcos da Lapa) and and a few farmlands here and there, in the Santa Tereza hill.  One day  a farmer decided to subdivide his land and convinced all the neighbors to do the same. That’s how the Santa Teresa neighborhood came about.
